ABOUT THE COLLECTION 
The Hamptons

There is something about The Hamptons I immediately fell for. I didn't' intend it.
 It was in spite of my best effort to be rather unimpressed; I fell hook line and sinker. Bewitched, bothered, and bewildered; what a beautiful and so American place. 
Inspired by time spent during the Summer meandering down streets and peaking through hedges and dazing into the sunshine sparkling through the trees. The Hamptons Collection is another unintended collection that bubbled to the surface from admiration and a sudden rush of falling in love with a place. 

ABOUT THE PIECE: There is this phrase people throw around in the Hamptons "It's so sceney" meaning- It's such scene. 
The food was incredible. There was a sparkler in a champagne bottle at the end of the evening. Was it someone's birthday? We went dancing somewhere afterwards like we were 24 or something. I don't even remember everyone's name at our table. Our waiter hated us. I didn't entirely blame him. It was kind of a quintessential experience. Lots of laughter and lots of summer air. I loved every minute of it. It was so sceneyyy.
