A few months ago, I received an email from Conde Nast’s World of Interiors magazine, headquartered in London, asking if I’d like to be included in their Artistic Impressions Winter Series.
To be entirely honest, being well versed in scams, I immediately kind of thought this was one. I just couldn’t fathom that Conde Nast had FOUND my artwork on their OWN and wanted to PRINT *MY* artwork.
BUT THEY DID THOUGH!!!!!!
It wasn’t a scam. It wasn’t a dream. I actually was speaking to a new friend (obvi- anyone who likes my art is my new friend!) in the office of Conde Nast in London.
So naturally, I wrote back my new friend at Conde Nast's World of Interiors and said, "Dear new friend, yes, please!"
I’ve been dying to shout this from the roof tops and now I finally can because my copy came in the mail today!!! And it’s official- My art arrived on the glossiest most beautiful rendition of The World of Interiors, an international publication, just hours ago. And the butterflies still haven’t left my stomach!
Now, everyone, go purchase a copy of the magazine at your local bookstore and flip through these delicious pages and see my pretty painting in the segment.
It’s coupled in the back of the publication with their regular inspiration segments.
My name and contact information, as well as different examples of my art, will appear in this segment in December and January as well. I’m so thrilled to have been included.
Let’s all hope that this is the beginning of something extra exciting for 2018.
