Part III of AD Home Show Featuring Mary Douglas Drysdale

by Lydia Marie Elizabeth in ,

It's little surprise to me that Mary Douglas Drysdale's design was my very favorite from the Architectural Digest Home Show in New York City.  (See my first two illustrations from the show here-- Kate Spade and Mark D. Sikes.)
This design exudes preppy chic summertime.  Boxwoods and lilacs happen to be a weakness of mine. I think I would paint them into every rendering and painting I ever do...(I might do this already... just look at the March calendar illustration.)

Obviously Mary's design was after my own heart!  She beautifully fashioned New Growth Designs into her display and the result was breathtaking.
Once I left the show and did a little research I found out that the firm is based out of DC! Another no-wonder-I-loved-it-moment.  If you're in the market for a designer in the DC region, make sure to interview with Mary and her team for top notch classic design-- you may just wind up with a patio looking this stunning for your very own!

Thanks for following along with the Architectural Digest Home Show Series!
Prints are available of these beautiful scenes in 8" x 10" for $25.00 each. Contact me here.
